I was wondering is it possible that my boyfriend got it and is it dangerous for him, can he be prevented from HPV?
And after I get cured is it possible to get the same HPV again, I am planning to stay with this boyfriend until the end of my life, so if he has it is it possible to infect me again?

For most people HPV goes away on its own. But, for some, it will stay with them their entire life. There currently is no cure for HPV, only treatment.

Usually the kind of HPV that doesn't go away are the kinds linked to cancer and warts. There are over 100 different kinds of HPV and only a handful can cause cancer or warts.

It's possible that you might be able to get rid of it, and your boyfriend too if he has it. Chances of him getting it (if he doesn't have it already), now that you have it, are pretty good though. I've read 75-80% of the world has HPV and most don't know they have it. It is one of the most common STDs out there today. If you do get rid of it, it's always possible for you to get it again. Also, there is no test for men to detect HPV, so there really is no way to find out for sure if he has it or not, or if he was the one who gave it to you. The most common way men find out they have HPV is by developing warts, but this doesn't happen for everyone and it can take months and sometimes years for warts to develop.

HPV can cause penile cancer, rectal cancer and head and neck cancer, but all of these are REALLY rare. The main concern with HPV is the cervical cancer, which is the second most common kind of cancer in women, after breast cancer. It's important that you get a pap smear done at least once a year and more if you have had an abnormal pap smear. HPV can also cause warts, like genital warts, but usually these are easily treated with medication.

There is no cure for Human papilloma virus (Genital warts). Only the symptoms subside and it will reappear when suitable conditions arise. HPV will stay for the rest of your life. In the case of females, certain HPVs cause cervical cancer.
