Common Cold: 7-10 days
Flu (Influenza): 1-2 weeks (possibly longer if elderly or chronically ill). Symptoms have a 1-4 day incubation period.
Pneumonia: With proper treatment, pneumonia can last 1-2 weeks, but walking pneumonia could appear 2-3 weeks after exposure.
Bronchitis: Acute bronchitis can last a few days to a week without medication. Your cough can last weeks to months.
Chronic bronchitis has no cure and can last for months at a time.
Sore Throat: Lasts 3-4 days.
Strep Throat: 1-3 days and children can return to school 24 hours after antibiotic treatment (check with doctor first).
Gastroenteritis: Lasts about a week.

regular cough, upper respiratory infection, bacterial about a week or two....with antibiotics, if cough stays and became chronic, then u have to be checked for other possible respiratory infection ,,,like tuberculosis....or even asthma if u have wheezes....or if u smoke then ..u will have it continuosly....called smoker's cough

15 days otherwise have a throat examination and a chest Xray done.
