what about "tunas"?? no the fish!! in mexico we call tunas to the nopal fruit.. usually are green with many, many seeds. they're delicious, very sweet. ah! also you can find them red!!

Mangosteen. The only place I have ever seen them is at the Asian market. (You can buy the juice almost anywhere, but it's hard to find the whole fruit in the states)

One of my very favourite fruits has always been prickly pears or cactus pears as they are sometimes called. They are sweet as sugar and just as appealing to look at (inside and out).

lychee, kamkwat, theres this thai one called gee-up. Duran's are these huge smelly spikey balls.

they are just recently made a fruit from plums apracots and peaches..........can't remember what its call ........they are are crossing lots of frutis now days.
