LOL I knew it was an Aussie based question
When I went to Australia I went to Hungry Jacks (their version of Burger King) I thought I would be adventurous and try an "Aussie Burger" it not only had Beetroot in it ,but Fried Egg as well ...hmmm it was an interesting "taste test" to say the least.

I live in Australia but I hate beetroot on my burgers.
Most people around me love it. I think it makes the bun all soggy and gross.
If I get a burger I have to ask for it not to be put on or else they will put it on automatically.

I tried a few burgers with beetroot on them when I went to AU on vacation. It was terrble! I don't mind the fried egg though.

in addition they invented vegemite and _actually_call_it_vegemite_ while it is particularly yeast paste. what's next? 'Roo foie gras? J/okay to respond to the question, no. it is in basic terms a fashion of putting a tiny salad on the burger. i've got heard of plenty stranger issues in countless countries, and beets at the instant are not unique to Australian burgers.
