There are so many bar/restaurants in Manhattan that rent out private spaces for parties, it's very easy to find. Really, just pick out a place you like, give them a call and ask if they have a private party package, and odds are they will. Depending on what you're looking for you can go all over the map, from fratty bars with burgers and beer pong to upscale as high as you want.

Peking Duck House on 53rd and 3rd? I think the website is pekingduckhousenyc.com.
Has absolutely the best peking duck in the city. You can have peking duck and several other great dishes, plus appetizer and dessert for about $30 per person!

there's a place on 34th, right around Penn Station, where you can rent a nice sized karaoke room. it's Japanese owned. anyway, it's got a nice wrap around sofa and a big table for drinks. even if you don't do karaoke, it's a great room.

40/40 club...went to a b-day party there this past May....it was pretty cool

try a hotel most of them have banquet rooms
