If you want to impress your family with a fabulous meal definitely take them to the Palliser downtown. It is a very nice hotel, one of the nicest in Calgary and the restaurant is top notch. The Rimrock Restaurant is a wonderful choice there. To get reservations, the phone number is (403) 260-1219. I ate there for my honeymoon for a Sunday brunch and it was to die for. Good luck!

This is Calgary's best restaurant:

If your looking for the American thanksgiving and have no kids Shanks athletic club has a good one. If your shooting for the Canadian one I would try the Homestead not the fanciest but would have a good filling meal. The river cafe as above mentioned would be great if your full of yourself and like over paying. Most of the hotels offer good meals for thanksgiving as well.
