I need help...I noticed 4 reddish bumps on my vagina and they became a little itchy and they burned after a few days...They arent filled with any puss or liquid but are uncomfortable especially when I urinate. I noticed this while I had a yeast infection also..and when I rub a yeast infection cream on it, it helps tremendously with the irritation..however, the rash hasnt gone away yet...I went to the doctor and she said that herpes is a possibility considering everyone has different outbreaks..she also said it fits the description of an allergic reaction and other more minor conditions. Please help does this sound like herpes? It doesnt match any pics on the internet and still hasnt had puss or liquid coming out.... oh and I havent had any unprotected sex in over a year.....

i know how u feel. it takes a week for the test to come back. mine came back positive but that's not the end of the world. no 2 outbreaks are alike. i've seen tons of pics online and none of them look like my outbreaks either. herpes is different with each person. sounds like herpes to me. remember it's not the end of the world, herpes won't kill u. 1 out of every 5 people has herpes, just no one talks about it. doesnt matter what kind of sex u have, u can still get herpes while having an outbreak. it's important to be honest and open with your partner. the people that make fun or joke about herpes are the ones that are stupid and not educated about stds. so don't worry about those ppl. and herpes is not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. plus it weeds out the bad ppl in your life.

No, it sounds like herpes.
Herpes are not pustular lesions.
You could have had unprotected sex 10 years ago, and still have herpes.
You need to go have those burning itchy bumps looked at by a professional.

If it is there is not much you can do about it. There is a medication that helps, but once you get herpes, you have it for life. I know, I have it. I would see another doctor for a second opinion and test for herpes.

Did you have the Chicken Pox as a child? If so, have you had a cold sore recently. The virus continues to live in the back of the neck and comes out under stress or immunity problems as cold sores. This is Herpes 1, but you can transfer it to the genitals but not washing your hands after scratching the cold sore.

Sorry....it sounds like herpes to me and that is something you will have for the rest of your life. To prevent anymore outbreaks take Valtrex daily.

A true doctor that was worth any count, should have done further testing to tell exactly what it is.I would suggest that if it is not better within a week to consult with another doctor for a second opinion.

good luck
