Whatever the number, low blood sugar can kill fast. My mother in law had a friend whose son had gone on a long car trip with friends. He fell asleep, and his nondiabetic friends did not know enough to wake him up occasionally. He ended up dying.
I saved my husband from low blood sugar attacks more times than I have fingers on my hand...I'll never forget the first time I found him passed out. We were dating ,and I knew nothing about diabetes...but I knew enough to get sugar in him ASP.
Before his death , I could tell just by looking at him if his sugars were running amuck...I had developed "The Sense"
Please, for the sanity of those who love you, keep your sugars in line...please.

A glucose of 40 will render most people unconscious.
20 or less is supposedly fatal.
A lot of diabetics can still be walking around with glucose levels in the 30s or even high 20s.
I once worked with a surgeon who claimed to have seen glucose levels around 2 or 3, with the patient still walking around.
Did I believe him? Not really.
I am hyoglycemic, which means that I will probably become diabetic eventually. A few years back, I was at work one evening, felt awful, and had a glucose of 28. And here I was, trying to take care of sick people. It turned out that I had acquired tuberculosis from somebody.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I am a diabetic and my level was unreadable by the emt's once - but they rushed me the the ER and I was brought back as I am still here.
I did not ask the ultimate question - as I hope to never get to that level.
i also went on the insulin pump and it is better than the old way of treating with multiple injections as there is never the large amount of insulin waiting in your system to dump in - you have a small amount every hour rather than taking one amount and hoping it works at the right times. You can also stop it at any time to avoid a large amount from being dumped in.
I have been Type 1 for 38 years - most of my life.

no it is not true, I've had a blood glucose of 14 mg/dl, I was out but when I reached 19 I was talking with the doctor in the ER and she was walking away so I was walking next to her. I guess she got nervous about that. That was the results from the lab not a meter so I know they were accurate readings.

Untrue. My husband has had his blood sugar dip to 14 twice in the last year because he started a new fast acting insulin. He had a heck of a diabetic induced seizure but once the paramedics shoved some dextrose into him he came around.

In general a blood glucose of <20 is incompatible with life. A blood glucose <30 usually induces coma. That is not to say that people have not survived such a low level, but it is very rare.

Nope! I've gone into seizures before for low blood sugars...the lowest one I measured myself w/o slipping into a seizure was 23. It was bad,but I'm still alive :)
