doctors plz answer.

i mean before rushing the patient to the hospital,is giving SORBITROL to the patient any help??if not suggest some first aid to be given......

For the average person that is at home and doesn't already have some medications to take such as Nitroglycerin, they should grab some Aspirin (NOT Tylenol or Advil or anything like that) and take one full one (325mg) or 4 baby ones. Get to the hospital RIGHT AWAY!!! Tell them that you took the aspirin before you left. Hope this helps. Sorbitol is NOT going to help in any of this. Jeff the nurse in Nashville

The drug that can be tried is Nitroglycerine.Not more than 3 tablets shoud be taken as this willl cause Hypotension.Get the person to a hospital as soon as possible.A low dose aspirin(50-100 mg) is also extremely useful till the person can be taken to the hospital.
