Why do men leave healthy wives in the house and go to sex workers?

As a sex worker since 1998, the bulk of my clients are married men between the ages of 35 to 65. Just for myself, I need to know why a man leaves a ready for action wife in his house and goes to a sex worker who may be diseased. I also want to know whose responsibility it is to wear a condom. I am not working now since November 2005, but when I was I kept loads of condoms in my studio. There were a lot of men, mostly black men who refused to wear condoms and offered me more money to do without. I let them, and so did a lot of my colleagues. This was in the UK. I have also worked in RSA, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, and Kenya as well as the USA. I hardly ever had any condom problems with any other race than blacks. Why is this? If there are any blacks here, please enlighten me.

In UK where I was having up to 40 clients per week with maybe up to 10 blacks, the majority of refusals were black, hardly any white ever.

I am not an expert on this but my opinion is that their wives are probably too tired or too principled to do the things that the men want to do sexually. A sex worker's job is to be an exciting lover and that is it. A wife has many, many, many physical responsibilities, etremely draining emotional responsibilities (especially if she has children) and there is more than likely some relationship issues in the marriage which make the woman unwilling to have sex with the man "on demand" -- whenever, where ever, how ever he wants.

Typically wives want an intimate loving sexual experience and cannot reach climax without this and if their husbands prefer casual non-emotional sex and really doesn't care if she reaches climax, there is conflict. The woman feels like an object or a non-person and there is nothing loving about the love-making experience. So what is the point for the woman other than keeping the man satisfied so he will not cheat which is just manipulation and causes resentment and a miriad of other problems in an already weak relationship.

With a sex worker, it is just about sex. No entanglements with love, emotion, or responsibility for resulting children or disease......so why not experience something men see as the most pleasurable experience in life with no investment except money?

As for condoms -- pleasure is lessened and some men would rather risk their lives than wear a condom and be denied the "full" pleasure of the sexual act. Many wives, especially in Africa where women have been "ingrained" not to have sex with their husband's (or anyone) without condoms. As for other countries, I'm sure these wives know (or are suspicious) that their husbands' are not faithful so they want to protect themselves and their children who would no longer have a healthy mother if she did not keep a condom between herself and her husband.

Maybe because their wives are not attractive; but I think men just get bored and like to fantasize. Wives expect more than a prostitute (sex worker), a little romance, foreplay, a man who cares about their satisfaction as much as his own. Sometimes a man just wants sex , period! He doesn't want a full course meal and a napkin in his lap, he just wants to get it on with a receptive partner.
Some men will go to a prostitute even if their wives look great. and are willing partners. Others might stay at home if , once in a while his wife seduces him and gives him pleasure without any demands of her own.
I do think I'd rather my husband go to a sex worker and come home than have an affair or just pick up a hooker on the street.

I can't say any thing about black partners not wearing condoms, but be very careful, STDs and Aids are such an awful price for anyone to pay, aids is so sneaky, popping up years after initial contact. The Aids epidemic in Africa is no joke and both you and your partners are always in danger. Take care.

Sex worker? Fine handle! What are the punters called, I wonder? But seriously - healthy (and indeed beautiful) wives/partners are one thing, but is it not fairly common for - mostly - males to tire of, what was once called the 'same dish'...and thus are serious to try their 'wilting' sexual taste-buds with a different main course for a few hours. Can't really answer you on the condom thing - but I always imagined if anyone said they were not going to wear one, the woman could refuse point blank and - er - press a certain button beside the bed that alerted half-dozen Mr. T. lookalikes in less than 15 seconds! Thought lasses in such a trade were well protected (in the UK anyhow).

Men do this because society allows them to. Like everything else, society sets standards of acceptable behaviours and if society allows it to happen or does nothing while it is happening, then it will happen. People should stand up and say that certain behaviours are out of order. Also when a person is infected, he/she should feel free to name the person who has infected them and say that it is bad. A wife must tell the rest of the world that her husband infected her with HIV. The people should shun that husband through his illness.

What has happened is that some misguided do-gooders have come and steered societies into accepting HIV in the homes by saying that societies should not stigmatise those infected. This is very bad news for wives. The infecting men must be targetted and made to regret their deeds.

Oh my God you are so honest. It is so dangerous to have sex without a condom and wouldn't care what the dude said I would make him wear it or leave. Who knows why any man would want a diseased "sex worker" over a wife that loves him. That's what I call human nature to sin. They get excitement out of paying for sex. Sex is sex and they reason they do it is because they are sick perverts that need to be reconked with. I hope you start to be safe and quit spreading diseases. This question is as old as the trade your in.....I really don't feel like repeating over and over how men are. The no-condom issue is far more serious. I have only one question: why do YOU not insist on wearing a condom? For your own f u c k i n g life's sake. Run and have a AIDS test done!

It is really quit simple really , sex workers get paid cash for an act . there is no question as to motive or intent when the act is being performed . The buyer can purchase any act the sex worker is willing to offer without any recriminations. it is strictly a business arrangement.

There is a cultural difference. African men prefer "hot, dry sex" which is why they don't like to use condoms or the spermicidal creams that Claire Short WHO et al have spent millions developing, wont work for them.
And the why is a bit like the dog who licks his b***s ....Because he can!

its probably because you are a freak in the sack and their wives are not. But the wife is some-one they can be seen with, respectable and are good mothers to their children, which is why they still stay with them. When u get married r u going 2 tell your man about your past?

A female friend of mine is a sex worker( what a politically correct euphemism for prostitute), and she always says, that if the wives were more willing in the bedroom, she'd be out of a job.
