there is no visable signs for many sexually transmitted disease's infections like chlymidia can be passed to other sites of the body other than genitals such as the eye, however it is unsual for the passage of sexually transmited diseases through oral-genital contact so my advice is if in doubt go and get checked at your local sexual health clinic where they will be able to take a few samples from both of you and give you the all clear.

yes you can get an STD from oral sex, although it is less risky than for example anal sex.
As for "tell tale signs" Many STDs have no visible signs, even ones such as herpes or Warts. If you google image stds you will be able to see classic examples, but please keep in mind that there is no way to know for certain because you can have most stds with no visual symptoms.
Any sex is risky, all you can do is take steps to minimize risk.
-know your partner and talk to them. keep in mind that people might lie or misrepresent the truth because they are embarassed or devious
-use protection: condoms, dental dam, etc.
-be informed. planned parenthood has a website which talks about various stds and steps you can take to prevent them.
-go to the doctor regularly and be honest about your sex life. Get tested...you may have to ask to be

you can get a lot of things without the girl showing symptoms. Have you tried dental dams? They're a protective barrier for when a guy gives a girl oral. Unfortunately they're a little thicker and more expensive so you could just as easily cut a condom (non-lubricated) the long way and stetch it out in a rectangle to cover her and you just give oral through it. Since latex doesn't taste so hot, I suggest the flavored condoms.

Genital herpes are one STD that can be transmitted via oral sex. I suggest you do a search to see what these look like (especially in the mouth!) This is not the same as the strain of herpes that causes "cold sores." Just use common sense. If something doesn't look or feel right, don't do it. One night isn't worth suffering for the rest of your life.

Yes you can.

There are lots of wonderful STD's to choose from too. Some of them can affect your mouth, some of those can also be quite serious and result in complications.

The "tell tale signs" are usually only "tell tale signs" to a highly trained and experienced eye. The untrained eye might see a vile, horrific, incurable, deadly disease ... the trained eye might see the same physical appearance as just a physical appearance or an insignificant infection/irritation.

If you want some information on how to improve your own ability to prevent or fight a disease, drop me an e-mail via my profile.

Good luck!

pretend the vagina is a bottle of wine. ask the bottle loads of questions about where it has been the last six months and have previous users stored it properly and been sterile themselves, with your nose snith, can you smell fresh fish or smoked haddock. have a good look at the texture of the juices can you see clear healthy looking fluid or does it look a bit cloudy and gluppy. have a good look in the light is there anything hanging around that could spoil the entrance or infect the quality of the wine. then try a very quick taste if it tastes slightly salty it could be a good one if it tastes like it is contaminated through it away quickly.

If the girl is infected with a STD it's possible for you to get infected too. But the number of STD's that you can get this way is limited.

Yes, you can get herpes, gonorrhea, syphilis etc. Some of these have no external signs and she may not even know if she has something.
However if you have a good relationship and you trust her on her past, don't let that put you off as it is one of the best bits of sex for a woman!

the answer to this is yes you can get stds from oral, either given to a man or a woman. To not know your partners sexual history is playing with fire and eventually you will get burnt.
