I feel really bloated a lot of the time. I eat a healthy diet with lots of fruit and veg and drink plenty of water and green tea. I also work out at least twice a week for at least 30 min. I also eat one of thoes activia yoghurts everyday and have been doing so for about two months but this problem will not go away. Anybody got any ideas?

You also need to be eating carbohydrates, to make sure that you can go to the toilet regularly.

You dont have to eat a lot, just a small amount each day to keep you regular.

You might be eating a little too much fruit and veg, as long as you are eating meat and pasta you should be ok.

You could be constipated and need some herbal remedies to cure it. I have used fibregel and senekot in the past and that seems to work.

Hope you feel better soon

Sometimes bloating can be caused by allergies to certain food products. I had the same problem and once my doctor (and consultants and dieticians!) told me to cut out wheat I not only felt a lot better but I lost over a stone in weight as a result!

Check with your doctor because if its something you're putting in to your body nothing else you put in will stop it. It might be you'll need to participate in an exclusion diet to see how you feel when you leave out certain foods.

Some food can cause bloating even the healthy
one and I think you should get used to go to the
bathroom daily try to keep the colon clean by
taking some kind of Metamucil once or twice
every week and you'll be alright.

Nice - you fill your body with nothing but water based stuff and then add bacteria intended to digest things that aren't water based - no wonder you are feeling bloated.

Try to eat more fibre (bran type stuff will be good) and as many people here have suggested a good fart (baked beans induced if necessary) might help too.

Have u ever tried eating limpets.

They grow on breakwaters and can be easily removed with a direct, swift yet delicate swipe with a sledgehammer. Do not, I repeat do not try to pull them off as they ejaculate a black liquid of dubious smell and of a salty nature.

Anyway the last time I tried them I really had the most horrendous shits and a very sore ****.

Since you are eating so many fruits, veggies and activia yogurt it takes awhile for your system to adjust. Try using Beano before eating each meal. Or use GasX.

Give up on the Activia and try Yakult.

It is all down to how you combine your food. I would suggest that you visit http://www.internethealthlibrary.com/DietandLifestyle/Food_combining.htm which will give you some hints on what foods digest well together.
