In fact the question is mostly backwards. Religious belief systems evolve to fit us, not vice-versa.
Evolution happens whenever there is replication with sources of variation and selection pressures (that is, factors in the environment that cause "ability to replicate" to depend on which variation one has). If you understand evolution, you understand that this is a matter of statistical necessity, not a wild speculation, as long as there is replication with variation and selection. Evolution is really a topic in statistics much more than in biology.
Religious belief systems replicate themselves, as they're passed from parents to children, using elaborate formal (Sunday school) and informal (casual comments, prayers etc.) methods. Those methods introduce variation, as the beliefs aren't always represented accurately, and even when they are, they're reinterpreted by the child. The same kinds of things happen as the belief systems are passed from adult to adult in evangelism and "missions".
So what about the selection pressures? Imagine a religion that taught that we are unimportant, and offered no reward for believing. That religion would obviously not attract many adherents, and therefore would die out. Imagine a religion that taught that we must not have children. It'd also die out. Imagine one that taught that we must not convert others or recruit our children, or one that taught that it really doesn't matter what religious beliefs you take on. Neither one will persist.
Some characteristics of religions enable those religions to persist, and others cause those religions to die out over time (think Judaism, which is likely to disappear because non-Jews cannot become Jews) or in a single generation, if they're maladaptive enough (think "Branch Davidian" or "Heaven's Gate").
A great example of the evolution of religion is this week's Time Magazine cover story: "Does God want us to be Rich?". Religion adapts to us.

what makes us different than other animals?
We have three parts to the brain, other animals have either two or one.
The first is a basic survival brain, it is what keeps you alive, without it you couldn't even breath.
The second part creates emotions, the more advanced animals have this part.
The third part that we humans have adds reasoning into the mix. We were curious and wanted to learn how, why, when, where. But back in our early civilizations we didn't know as much as we know today. So we created theories, someone with great power must have made us and the world around us. these stories that were brainstormed helped our ancestors to guess about nature and learn about it. You see religion is early science, before we had tools to learn more about our world we had no other explanation than something powerful out there was involved, and there is so much we still don't know that is why religion is still around, but we are still learning

There are seven basic proofs God exists. Properly, they belong in a separate book all by themselves, but I will cover them briefly here.
(1) That there is a great CREATION is obvious. The very fact of the existence of THINGS; the universe, the solar system, the earth and all myriad forms of life upon it, demands a CREATOR!
(2) The existence of great, immutable, powerful LAWS (and I speak of the "laws" governing the physical universe; the laws of science and chemistry; laws governing the action of water in its three states; the cleavage and fracturing properties of minerals; gravity, inertia, isostasy, etc., etc.). The existence of these great laws demands a lawgiver!
(3) The intricacy of complex design; whether the feathers on the wing of a bird; the eye of a fly; the breathing apparatus of a dolphin; billions of intricately-designed snowflakes; your own muscular, skeletal, digestive and circulatory systems-etc., etc., requires a great DESIGNER!
(4) LIFE exists. Life in myriad forms. You and I both know that life only comes from preexisting life! This is called the "law of biogenesis." Life demands a great LIFE GIVER!
(5) Life only comes from preexisting life of the same kind! Thus, there is procreation, and the sustaining of life on our planet; the constant recycling of falling trees, rotting vegetation; the bacteria which break it down to become food for the insects which are food for dozens of other creatures, which are in turn food for larger creatures, which are in turn food for man; the cyclical character of our symbiotic environment which, like a gigantic machine was once "wound up," and is gradually running down, requires a sustaining force. Inherent within this proof are the laws governing the "conservation" of energy" and the laws of thermodynamics. It is obvious our universe has a great sustaining force-a GREAT SUSTAINER!
(6) Fulfilled prophecies, of which there are dozens, with dozens more yet to be fulfilled, constitute a great proof of Almighty God. Even simple high school or beginning college-level Bible handbooks such as Halley's, or the Angus Bible Handbook contain fascinating proofs from the spade of archeologists corroborating the prophecies of men who foretold the collapse of great empires and the emergence of others centuries and centuries beyond their own lifetime. Now, we are able to look back at such men as Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and others, and see what they foretold actually HAPPENED exactly as they foretold it!
Many of the biblical prophecies are in process of being fulfilled. The serious student of biblical archeology knows that it is axiomatic that, wherever archeology reveals information about ancient civilizations, it always corroborates the biblical record, never refutes it!
(7) The final proof-one which dyed-in-the-wool disbelievers will doubtlessly scoff at-is answered prayer! Of course. God does not answer the prayers of skeptics and disbelievers. However, those individuals who have experienced the answer to PRAYER; those who have been healed of their sicknesses and diseases, who have actually seen miracles performed, are no longer doubting, but believing. Answered prayer is definitely a proof that there is a God who can hear. and answer!

As a Muslim i've got faith Allah (God) created us. i don't think that we developed from some prokaryotic cellular which lived interior the sea or something... i'm unable to understand the way human beings nevertheless have faith in Darwin’s theory of evolution. cutting-edge technological expertise has shown that the form in living issues are so complicated that merely asserting they ameliorations isn't proper... Darwin additionally had this doubt... i don't bear in ideas the genuine words yet in his writing he has suggested that if this inner shape is greater complicated than what he assumes that's then his theory stands no risk". A in call for student or the seventh century AC Imam Abu-Hanifa, had an open communicate with a individual who additionally did not have faith in Allah and reported that we've been created by ability of nature not God. Imam Abu Hanifa got here late to the consultation. the guy protested and reported person-friendly a thank you to declare you're a believer and you do not understand your promise. Hanifa informed him a narrative. He reported that as i became coming I had to bypass a river. final night the water had washed the bridge away so I had to watch for a boat. there have been no boats around yet I waited. fortunately a close-by tree have been given cut back by ability of itself...it fell to the floor and have been given divided into boards. Then they joined mutually and formed a boat and that i crossed the river. via fact it took a splash time via fact of this i'm late.... the guy began guffawing and shouting that the Imam is a lair... How ought to a tree get cut back, in spite of this get cut back into boards and then kind a boat by ability of itself... Imam reported particular that's what i pick to declare... If a boat can’t create itself how can this universe, the sky, the earth and each and all the failings around us be formed in such element and stability by ability of it.... So i don't think of our ancestors have been monkeys... some might yet i propose them to provide up disrespecting their forefathers. How come we don't see any evolution for the period of our recorded historical past.... even a small one might have stated different sensible yet there is none... a guy is a guy and a beast is a beast... comparable is going for fish and flowers and all the different tens of millions of creature created by ability of Allah Almighty.

The first sign a species is becoming sentient is when they have evolved to the point where they can abstract enough to invent a god. The first sign a species is achieving sentient maturity is when they get rid of their gods.

firstly, we humans r different frm animals bcoz our cerebrum is way more developed than theirs. Thus, our thinking abilities, emotions etc. are much much much much much much better than the animals. The old humans (who first started believing in religion) most likely made it up to explain things they could not explain at their time bcoz of their low technology. another reason is the ppl believe in god bcoz they needed comfort etc. etc. believeing in god helped them be comforted as they can put their troubles to god in prayers etc. this helps them calm down. i reckon that is the main reason...

The answer is simple---evolution is a false doctrine; therefore there is no premise for your question or thought process behind it.
