Doubt they will change. Plus you need to add one more thing - condemn the brutal killings of non-muslims in non-muslim countries.

Im a Muslim and i condemn terrorism, i may have some sympathy for say the Palestinians and understand why they resort to terrorism but i think terrorism is the not just non-Muslims enemy but everyones enemy, including Muslims. How come it is ok for western, non-Muslim intellectuals and university students to be anti-Bush and anti-Iraq or attempt to understand why there is acts of terrorism going on in this region and against Americans, when someone like me, who was born in Australia, doesn't support extremism, or know any extremists and am proud Australian gets labelled an extremist if i begin to even analyse the situation.
You are right, Muslims do need to condemn the terrorists more because our religion is becoming dominated by these psyco's, but it doesn't mean i have to agree with everything my own or other western countries do. And i don't live a tribal way of life at all, and poverty is a reason for why many Muslims live this way now. Do you also condemn Africans for living tribally and being riddled with AIDS?
Muslims do respect the rights of non-Muslims that is what being a Muslim is all about, if you don't your not a Muslim. It is us who are not being respected, look at the comments on this site. Force conversion is also not Islamic so to me they are not Muslims. And don't get me wrong, i despise so called Islamic states like Iran and Saudi Arabia, but they are so far from practising true Islam that i have nothing in common with them, yes they probably should be condmened more but by the world community.
Why not brag Islam is the greatest religion (although thi is not my style), people wouldn't follow it if they didn't believe this, how many times to Christians say theirs is the greatest religion and Jesus the only way to heaven and happiness.
The rest of your 'question' show how how uneducated and ignorant you are that i'm not even going to bother.

I can't agree with your list as it is written because of the offensive elements in it. That's too bad because I think that the intent of your question is not bad. I could agree with your list if it was altered to read:
condemn terrorism
condemn all forms of brutality and forced conversions
accept that Islam is one religion among many. There is no "greatest religion" - this must be accepted by all religious groups.
give up tribal ways
respect the rights and integrity of non Muslims in your midst
Muslims can only expect as much respect as they give to others
I think you will find that these principles are more than acceptable.

I think some of your idea are a bit false. In history the Muslim people ruled large parts of the world and they made the laws of the land the laws of islam except that they never forced people to convert. Yes they siad women of all religions should cover up as Islamic law demands but they never said worship as we do and declare our religion for yourself. Violence is only condoned in selfdeffence by the muslim world. Before the rest of the world started messing in the middle east (WWI, WWII, Zionist movement, ect...) the Muslims didn't feel the need to fight back. Oh and BTW the terrorist tactics used by the muslims from the Middle east were taught to them by the british in WWI and WWII. If they didn't think it was the best they wouldn't be Muslim. Anyone who wants to live outside of our "modern world" is cool with me. Why do you care what they do in day to day living? Having childeren is awesome and if they want to have 20 then more power to them...why should they stop because you don't like it? Every group of people in the world has members who rui it for the rest. Why do you generalize? That is very narrow minded. ANd for the record I am a born and raised American and was raised christian. I have no personal or vested interest in the muslim world except that it is part of the world which I am also a member.

as a Moslem, I do condemn terrorism, from and against Moslems
I do condemn the brutalization of non Muslims living in Islamic countries by Muslims, and the rape and forced conversion to Islam of non Muslim women (although this is not true)
every one brags that his belief is the true belief, therefore Islam is the greatest religion

Why are you so hateful about Islam and Muslims? What do you want Muslims to do to please you and your modernism? You think that Muslims are killing and oppressing non-Muslims in their countries. Have you ever seen the corpses of Kashmiri, and Iraqian children on T.V. What would you call that? Islam haven't been the great religion. Islam IS the greatest religion. Ahmed, are you a Muslim? because Muslims give this name you their children. If you are a Muslim, have you ever recited The Holy Qur'an with translation? Muslims are not living in tribal way, they are contributing in every field of life in the whole world, open your eyes dear brother! What do you mean by we should join the modern world? Perhaps you want like every "modern person" that Muslim women should give up "Hijaab". Every Muslim should abondon beard and "Salat" (Prayer). You want every Muslim to do what Michael Jackson does, but we want to and we will do what Mohammad (Peace be upon him) said and did. You want Muslim women to do what non-Muslim women do. But they will do what Fatima (R.A) the daughter of the Propher did. We do respect the rights and intergrity of non Muslims. We love The Christ and We love Mohammad. We can never think of insulting (Moaz Allah) Hazrat Isa (Christ) and nor we can tolerate any insult of any Prophet of Allah (God) incliding our Prophet Mohammad and Christ. But what they did to us, these non-Muslims they insulted our Prophet by those sketches. We have Chruches and Temples in Muslim countries and non-Muslims are free to worship. I don't know what do you want? People like you who even know much Islam?
"When will you begin to change?"

I kinda agree with SOME of the things you say, but you could choose to say it in a less prejudicial manner.
Point is... Respect and treat others the same way you'd want them to do to you.
Pity not everyone remembers this often enough.

I won't answer this question, but I will just state my little speech on the end.
I live in an Arabic part of London, and I have had enough, enough of being treated like a piece of crap.
I have had enough of being stared at by lecherous old men sitting outside coffee shops.
I am sick of walking home at night, and being harassed by desperate men who assume that I am a prostitute.
I am sick of being queue jumped in the shops because a) I am not one of them.
b) Because I am a woman.
I am sick of having my path blocked in shops and in the street by groups of women who refuse to move for me because I am not 'one of them'.
I am a patient person, and I like to think that everyone is equal, but if you want me to continue thinking like this, then you must treat me equally too.
Perhaps this is nothing to do with religion or culture, but of all the places I have lived, this is the only place I have noticed this.
