I don't know what is causing it. It usually happens around 3-5pm. Not every day though. It's not because of the weather I don't think cause it's happened on hot and cold days. My face goes bright red and feels like it is burning! I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with the removal of my wisdom teeth, this is like the only thing that has changed prior to these overheating things. The only other thing that I can think of is that I'm getting over-tired?
Any ideas??

It could possibly be rosacea, a skin disorder. If it continues and is bothersome, you might check with your doctor. I have the condition and it started out the same way as you describe. It is not serious and can be treated. Good luck.

I get those sometimes when my face gets really flushed and I feel very hot. My doctor claims it is because I'm ovulating but I do this anytime during the month. Go to your doctor and see what he says.
