My husky has eaten chocolate, raisens, and anything else she could tear open once when she raided the pantry. I now keep a baby gate up and a little lock on the door because most inside doors she can open. The chocolate was baker's chocolate, the worst kind - the raisens were golden raisens (not that I think that would make a difference), and she never got sick at all. However, she has gotten into things and enlisted the help of my shepherds and they end up sick or with diarrhea. So it may also depend on the dog. I should mention though that she came from a rescue because she had been feed some type of acid because she chewed on things and talked (the way sibes do) too much. So maybe after eating acid nothing much else bothers you.... All of my dogs love peanut butter though, and if I'm having a day where I need to get something done and they won't leave me alone, I put peanut butter in a Kong as a special treat. They also eat the crust of my peanut butter toast when I have it.

It is best to keep your dogs on dog food. People food could have a bad affect on them. Chocolate if eaten enough will kill your dog. Even chocolate ice cream. Ask your vet what is best dog food plan for your size, age and type of dog.

Peanut Butter is okay for your dogs, in fact if you have to give them any type of pill (medication) you can put PB around it and it helps! I don't know about the bananas (only because of the potassium)

Some dogs like grapes and carrots.....mine (I know it is weird) but they like broccoli!

Dogs can not have CHOCOLATE, it messes up their digestive system and can be fatal.

Since reading your comments above.....what is wrong with grapes...just curious?

They can eat a jar of peanut butter if they aren't allergic. I fix a big pot of oatmeal with peanut butter for mine. (my cat likes the bananas not the dogs)

Red meat is good for them too. Dogs are carnivores meat and protein should be their primary food. However; pork is not good for them. Chicken, turkey and beef are excellant.

HEHEHE - Pug and sharpei.... Scrunch face and saggy face to cute.

Dogs love peanut butter. But dogs love anything people like. Peanut butter in small doses cannot hurt dogs, but too much can be bad for them. Keep it to small bits occasionally (not every day).

Dogs are basically carnivorous creatures, same as cats.
Little treats from our diets are fine in small amounts, very rarely. Chocolate is'nt good and Bread, it gives dogs excema, so no toast, which alot of dogs love! Also, no milk.

My dog love apples, oranges, bananas, yogurt, peanut butter and what ever else she gets a hold of. But I only usually give her fruit when I am eating it and I don't give her that much of any other human food because I don't want her to get sick but I think fruit is good for her.

I fix kongs stuffed with peanut butter and then freeze them. My dogs love them, and this was a regular treat at the dog sanctuary I used to work at. Stay away from the chocolate of course. :)

Bananna's and PB are fine! No onions, chocolate, grapes, rasins, or mushrooms...if they do get red meat, make sure it is moderation. Red meat is really not that great for them. Also...no fat...80% of the animal population is overweight or obese, they need our help in this department. It is easier to keep them fit and trimj, than trying to get them to lose weight. Obesity can cause the EXACT same medical problems in animals as it does in humans!!!

Peanut butter will not hurt your dog, but they can have an allergy to peanut butter, if the dog suddenly starts itching really bad then discontinue feeding the peanut butter, it probably is allergic to it.

here is things you should not feed your dog as they can cause death or damage to your dog.

Alcoholic beverages Can cause intoxication, coma, and death.

Baby food Can contain onion powder, which can be toxic to dogs. (Please see onion below.) Can also result in nutritional deficiencies, if fed in large amounts.

Bones from fish, poultry, or other meat sources Can cause obstruction or laceration of the digestive system.

Cat food Generally too high in protein and fats.

Chocolate, coffee, tea, and other caffeine Contain caffeine, theobromine, or theophylline, which can be toxic and affect the heart and nervous systems.

Citrus oil extracts Can cause vomiting.

Fat trimmings Can cause pancreatitis.

Grapes and raisins Contain an unknown toxin, which can damage the kidneys.
Hops Unknown compound causes panting, increased heart rate, elevated temperature, seizures, and death.

Human vitamin supplements containing iron Can damage the lining of the digestive system and be toxic to the other organs including the liver and kidneys.

Large amounts of liver Can cause Vitamin A toxicity, which affects muscles and bones.

Macadamia nuts Contain an unknown toxin, which can affect the digestive and nervous systems and muscle.

Marijuana Can depress the nervous system, cause vomiting, and changes in the heart rate.

Milk and other dairy products Some adult dogs and cats do not have sufficient amounts of the enzyme lactase, which breaks down the lactose in milk. This can result in diarrhea. Lactose-free milk products are available for pets.

Moldy or spoiled food, garbage Can contain multiple toxins causing vomiting and diarrhea and can also affect other organs.

Mushrooms Can contain toxins, which may affect multiple systems in the body, cause shock, and result in death.

Onions and garlic (raw, cooked, or powder) Contain sulfoxides and disulfides, which can damage red blood cells and cause anemia. Cats are more susceptible than dogs. Garlic is less toxic than onions.

Persimmons Seeds can cause intestinal obstruction and enteritis.

Pits from peaches and plums Can cause obstruction of the digestive tract.

Potato, rhubarb, and tomato leaves; potato and tomato stems Contain oxalates, which can affect the digestive, nervous, and urinary systems. This is more of a problem in livestock.

Raw eggs Contain an enzyme called avidin, which decreases the absorption of biotin (a B vitamin). This can lead to skin and hair coat problems. Raw eggs may also contain Salmonella.

Raw fish Can result in a thiamine (a B vitamin) deficiency leading to loss of appetite, seizures, and in severe cases, death. More common if raw fish is fed regularly.

Salt If eaten in large quantities it may lead to electrolyte imbalances.

String Can become trapped in the digestive system; called a "string foreign body."
.
Table scraps (in large amounts) Table scraps are not nutritionally balanced. They should never be more than 10% of the diet. Fat should be trimmed from meat; bones should not be fed.
Tobacco Contains nicotine, which affects the digestive and nervous systems. Can result in rapid heart beat, collapse, coma, and death.
Yeast dough Can expand and produce gas in the digestive system, causing pain and possible rupture of the stomach or intestines
