anything with red dye is proven to cause hyperactivity

It is a food additive called... E330

It's found in almost every food and is proven to also be Carcinogenic (In sufficient doses WILL cause cancer)
Coke and red cordial contain this chemical.
Cordial ?!? (Guess your in Aus). Anyway, The laws in Australia force food companies to say whether their food contains this chemical. Next time you go shopping just check a few food labels. Its in almost everything.

Also the food colour (e-123, e-122) will get you going off your dial. These are the red range of food dyes. Nasties too.
