It's a condensed history of Montserrat, and Carr's Bay features in it, I can't find much about the plantation though, sorry.

I'm from Montserrat and lived there for a long while and part of the island is destroy it's a danger zone now sad. i use to talk walks with my family by Carrs bay. on to carrs bay plantation it was used as a coastal batteries along with Bransby Bay and Old Road Bay in 1696 and thats all i know or can remember i only took walks there

Actually, not the whole island was destroyed by the volcano erupting. I went to Montserrat on holiday last year and its was fantastic! Trye the government website..

you have found out by now that 1/2 of Montserrat was destroyed by a volcano 10 years ago, right?
