How old is she? how long ago was she potty trained? was it diahrrea? Did you forget to let her out?

Not enough info...

That being said, she may have just relapsed with the potty training...start from the begining again, just try to keep on a tight schedule like you probably were before you started construction. You may have slacked off a little bit. Happens to all of us :) We get into think and get busy...but puppy still needs your guidence for a while.

Let her out more often, or go out with her and make sure she does her "business" when she is out there. Then give her praise for doing the right thing...just re-inforce where she is supposed to go... And remeber it's probably YOUR fault she had the accident, no reason to scold her too bad, a simple no will be just fine, you can even remove it and put it outside and show it to her, so she get the association...

GOOD LUCK, and this has nothing to do with any breed...don't understand what that person asked you for the breed...??

Hi,
The only times I know my dog (and other friends dogs) to do this is when
1. They are angry -you haven't spent enough time with them, they haven't seen their favourite person/toy, you have a new person within the family (childs friend, you have a new partner, you have patted a friends dog) etc
2. Attention Seeking behaviour
3. They're sick
4. They really needed to go

If they poo-ed near a door/exit, bathroom, newspaper... chances are they just needed to go (Has your friend a change in diet... or eaten something they shouldn't have)
If they poo-ed on or near something you value... try angry puppy
If the poo is different to normal -they could be ill..
If they poo-ed in the middle of the room not near anything... probably attention seeking behaviour... To a dog, even you yelling at them is better than not being spoken to at all...

How old is your friend... it just might be apart of life!

If it is the first time, it is probably nothing to worry about. Perhaps call your vet if it happens again.

Since shes from the battersea dog home she must have suffered some trauma in her life, the conservatory will make her feel anxious and worried. My dog is four years and did the same thing when we were moving house, be patient and give her lots of love and cuddles, reassurance and she'll be better... Good luck :) xxx

i have had my dog for nearly a year and she is one at the end of this month,i have never really had any problems with her since she was a puppy,at times she was in the house for a few hrs and no accident but for the last fortnight i have cleaned up wee and poo daily it was driving me mad and then i came home and found out she had come into her first season, could be a reason for your dog? i have never heard of this before but dogs act in different ways and there has been no accidents for the last two days

Either she has bowel issues, or.....Has something in the house/lifestyle changed? She may be jealous of a new partner of hobby where you don't spend time with her.

Also it could be that you weren't in the house at the time and it was urgent. Try and get her to 'go' before you leave the house for long periods.

Are you having any major changes in your life or home this may cause the dog to be unsettled.
