I've been on Zoloft 100mg for over three years for treatment for OCD. The doctor is weening me off the stuff, so now I've been taking 50mg for the past few days. Its made as edgy as hell and I'm wondering does anyone know from either personal experience or expert knowledge (and not conjecture) how long this should last.

I took Prozac for 6 years and stopped it an year ago. It is not an easy task. I don't know why your doctor weaning it off. OCD is a chronic condition and you have to take meds all your life. If you want to stop the drug, taper it off, as slowly as possible.
You had to decrease the dose to 75mg first and wait for 2 months. Decrease 25mg every 2 months.
I recommend you to find the lowest effective dose and stay on it.
Do CBT and learn about OCD as much as possible. Some novel treatments are emerging.

Until it works it's way out of your system. Could be days, weeks or months. All depends on YOUR body!
