I read somewhere that he couldn't learn how to tie his shoes. Thoughts?

I myself wonder if he perhaps had Asburgers Autism. It would definately explain his super genius capabilities as well as his tedious mental blocks.

Will we ever know? Hmm....

Most of the non-scientific facts about Einstein are exaggerated. He was a real genius.

Yes Einstein was a genius, being a genius doesn't mean you can do everything well. Einstein failed math when he was younger.

Apart from your comment NO. He just borrowed other people's ideas and showed them in his ways.
Even the equation E=mc2 is not his own. A scientist & mathematician called "Laurenz" found this equation. These are known as "Laurenz Transformation".

Also, he did not had any major contribution to human kind, that I can think of.

He was weird for sure.
But what he lacked in some departments, he more than fullfilled in others.
