Since what Jesus teaches has been rejected for what Jews teach, that the Messiah hasn't come yet and there is no new covenant between God and his children. Thats when. You say you follow the Bible, but only believe Jesus died for us? You follow the traditions and the cults of mankind.

From the very beginning. Christianity started as a cult. Then, like all such groups, once it got enough power, money, and guns to control people it became a legitimate religion.

It's really quite simple. In order to be a legitimate religion you have to torture and kill a lot of people. Sound familiar?

Theology is not Biology. In Biology, you can put a leaf under a microscope and force it to give up its secrets. With God however, he reveals Himself through his word as it pleases him. He requires the student to be humble and obedient before He will share his secrets. Unfortunately because we like to be in control... we like to know what we what to know when we want to know it... we do one of two things. 1. become an atheist... it is much easier to just take the lazy way out and pretend that God is not there. 2. Become religious. Another lazy way... we simply adopt someone's sytem of answers. Both of these lazy methods allow us to regain control rather than trust God and His word to teach us as we yield and obey.
