I've just been left a September 2006 copy of 'Awake' which is in perfect condition, and is a 'special issue' with a feature called 'Is there a Creator?' Shall I sell it on ebay, or do any of you have a better idea?

Ive got it too.
They dropped it off and said they would come back to see what I thought of it.
Ive read it, done all the puzzles and am now lying in wait for their return to inform them I still think its a load of nonsense.
I suggest you do the same.

Trash it if is from JW's. A cult is any group which teaches doctrines or beliefs that deviate from the biblical message of the Christian faith. It is very important that we recognize cults and avoid any involvement with them. Cults often teach some Christian truth mixed with error, which may be difficult to detect. There are some features common to most cults:
They do not adhere solely to the sixty-six books of the Bible as the inspired Word of God. They add their "special revelations" to the Bible as equally authoritative.

They do not accept that our relationship to Jesus Christ is a reality "by grace through faith" alone, but practice instead a salvation by works.

They do not give Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, full recognition as the second Person of the Trinity, composed of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Some of these groups are Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, the Unification Church, Unitarians, Spiritists, Scientologists, and others.

Im one of Jehovahs Witnesses, why dont you read it and let me know what you think of it? Im genuinely being honest (as I think the other person who responded with the scripture from matthew 24:14 is being) and if you want to discuss anything further, please do so.
We are NOT a cult.
We try to preach the truth about God and the Bible and we face alot of discrimination by people who want to use our magazines as toilet paper! I dont have time for these people... but I have time for people who respect our beliefs even if they dont belive them. Our other magazine IS called the Watchtower but we have published the Special Awake magazine for the benefit of people who want to know more about our Creator.

Hope you do the right thing and dont use our magazine as loo roll! If you dont want to read it why did u accept it in the first place? And if you are going to throw it away, recycle it!

More than 30 million copies of this issue will likely be distributed in the United States alone. Thus the magazine is unlikely to be valuable for resale.

Jehovah's Witnesses expect that you will enjoy reading the magazine yourself, and likely share its message with friends or family.

Leave it by the door and the next time a pair of Jehovah's witnesses come round selling their magazine ask for a refund.

For added fun, try adding your own comments. Under "Is there a creator?" you could try "yes, but he's very very sorry and won't do it again."

before you do anything, read it. the preaching work is being done world wide by Jehovah's witnesses because of their loyalty to Jehovah and the instructions from Jesus. we are the only people to preach unselfishly to all the nations. if you find Jehovah's witnesses so unworthwhile, just tell us so, and don't waste our literature which could be given to someone with an ounce of love or interest. we would rather talk to receptive people than waste time on those who have no love for the true God

The JW's are a cult. Many will get on here and talk about watch tower and the like. Look mid ways down my page for the TRUTH on JW's. Enlightening. Don't sell that on ebay, you don't want to corrupt anyone. It might burn well though!

Personally, I'd find the nearest JW meeting hall, walk in there in full body armour and demand compensation for them littering your doorstep with their crap, or you'll show them what it means to be awake...

Careful though, don't stay in the building for more than 7 minutes or their hypno-ray may get you... bunch of numpties...

You CAN'T get salvation or enlightment from knowledge alone - what a presumptious opinion to believe you could do so....

The best way you can do is that you read it,give it to people who you think have interest in reading awake to read. This is not for sale or the internet, cos you dont buy it on the internet.somebody dedicately come to you and give you without paying anything except you do the voluntary contribution in supporting of the good news that we are meant to do.matt.24:14.

It's not worth anything. Trust me. I was raised Jehovah's Witness. They come out with countless 'special' issues. The best thing you can use it for is a fly swatter.
