Would my brother who died 43 years ago at age 8 still retain an appearance of that 8 years innocent looking boy or a 51 years old man? If latter, would I recognise him? If not, Who will introduce us?

You will not be human, you will be a spirit! The things that mattered to you here on earth will not matter to you in Heaven. We will all know each other.

I am sure that he will find you; As will all your loved ones, who have gone before
The soul, spirit , does not need vision ,you will recognise them and they will recognise you .
It took me 2 years of mourning to realise, that my Dad had not gone away ( to heaven or anywhere else)
,he is still here watching over me and my growing family .
That certainty ,made me feel so peaceful and comfortable with the thought of death.
Do not fear death ,it is only another stage we go through , not unlike birth.

So don't worry he knows you, as you know him.

Hey, don't worry - if you believe some of the more rabid Christians on here, there's going to be way less than 6 billion sould in heaven.

Hell, according to them, is the one that's going to need a mighty thick address book...

One of my favprite Bible passages that shows that we will recognize everyone in Heaven can be found in Matthew 17. It's when Jesus was momentarily glorified in front of Peter, James, and John, During this remarkable event Moses and Elijah also appeared with Christ. Moses and Elijah had died hundreds of years prior to this event; yet, as you will read, Peter recognized both men in their heavenly bodies! If you know Christ, this can be your hope for relatives who have gone to Heaven before you,
One of the Bible's greatest truths is that we weren't created by God just for this life, but we were made to live forever. In other words, death isn't the end for us, but the beginning of a whole new existence—either with God in heaven, or apart from Him in the place the Bible calls hell.

And no—we won't be disembodied spirits floating around in heaven! God will give us new bodies in heaven—bodies that will be similar to Christ's body after His resurrection. The Bible says that Christ, "by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body" (Philippians 3:21).

What will we look like in heaven? The Bible doesn't say exactly—but you can be sure that all our weaknesses and imperfections will be gone, and our bodies will be perfect and ageless. The baby who died from a crippling disease won't be a baby any longer; the old person who was feeble and frail will have perfect health. The Bible says, "What we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he (Christ) appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is" (1 John 3:2).

It's intriguing to think about heaven and what it will be like—but I pray you won't lose sight of an even more important question. It is this: Do you know you are going there? You can, by giving your life to Jesus Christ and trusting Him alone for your salvation. Make sure of your commitment to Him.
The Bible tells us a glorious truth: Not only will our souls live forever, but if we know Christ, one day God will give us new bodies—bodies that will never perish, or ever experience sickness or pain again.

No, I can't imagine exactly what this will be like—but I know it's true, for God has promised it. When Christ rose from the dead, He had a new body—similar to what it had once been, and yet in other ways different. No longer was He limited by time and space, for example. The same will be true of us, for someday God "will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body" (Philippians 3:21).

Every obituary ... every cemetery ... every twinge of pain reminds us that someday this life will be over and we will enter eternity. Tragically, however, many people never think about death or bother to prepare for it. But denying it or ignoring it won't make it go away. The Bible warns, "Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).

But listen: We don't need to fear God's judgment—not if we know Christ! The reason is because He took upon Himself our judgment and our Hell when He died on the cross for us. All our sins were transferred to Him, and He died in our place. Make sure of your salvation by giving your life to Christ today.
