I've had this happen, the credit card will most likely give you your money back, but in return you'll have to ship the faulty thing back to SOMEONE, even if it's the credit card company (at this point they don't care about specifics, they just want to know that you're telling the truth! A friend of mine had to return it to a place their credit card recommended) But as with any purchase you are protected after $50.00 for any item...

The card company is only equally liable if there is a fault with the product and not just because you don't fancy the product any longer. They'll probably try and fob you off so I suggest you contact the Citizens Advice Bureau to get some advice on your legal position.

If you have a problem, ring your card company for advice, they have to comply with the law. I suggest you read your agreement with your credit card company.

Normally I'm pretty certain the answer is yes. Just contact the CC company.

You are only protected if the item is lost or stolen, not repossessed.
