If I can use pre-sifted "for bread machine" plain flour, then do I need to add baking soda & salt?
What is difference between baking soda and baking powder & its functions in baking?
Is it true there is some harmful side-effects to the human health caused by the yeast in bread made with the bread machine?

I wouldnt' us the flour in a cake. It probably has extra leaving agants in.
Do a search on answers on the difference on baking soda and baking powder. It has been answered a million times already. Baking soda is sodium bicobarnate, and baking powder is baking soda, and a few other things.
There are no health risks associated with yeast specifically from bread machines.
