I'm very interested in becoming a marketing/advertising personnel at a casino. However, before I make a huge career change I would really appreciate it if someone could or lead me to someone who might be willing to let me shadow/volunteer in the marketing deparment of a major casino.
I'm very serious about this and I can send my resume if necessary. Any help or advice would be appreciated. thank you

Contact your local college. they set up internship courses which allows you to volunteer. I currently work in the casino Marketing department. No casino is going to allow someone on the outside volunteer with all the information that can be obtained for others use. Casinos are very private about their player databases

Jumpy, about the only thing I can suggest is that you go to a casino's HR dept and ask. The worst they could tell you is no.

My wife is a dealer and she was able to shadow , but due to the gambling laws in Missouri, she had to be licensed by the gaming commission before she could deal.

You may not have to be licensed, depending on where you're at, but if you're out on the floor, the casino will advise.

Good luck!
