Hmmm, perplexing indeed. One should always be routinely careful when entertaining colonials or their indidgenous population. Many a good evening has been spoilt by an inadvertant and unwitting faux-pas. Need I remind you of the horrendous outcome of the now infamous afternoon tea dabacle when General Custer proffered Geronimo a garibaldi slice to accompany his cup of lapsang souchong ? Poor fellow, at the very least he could have salvaged some small ereserve had he served Earl Grey instead. Tsk tsk !

Native Americans put naturally grown tobacco in their peace pipe. The ones I know would be insulted if anyone put anything else in their peace pipes.
