It is written in the Bible repent and be baptised everyone of you for the forgiveness of your sins. I have seen people baptise children who do not even reason, and this is done mostly by the catholics. Is that right, and which verse in the Bible support that?

As far as the Bible is concerned, all who were baptized were one of the following:

- one who accepted Christ then and there
- one who received the baptism of John first, then received the message of Christ and then subsequently accepted it
- one who received the message of Christ, then received the Holy Spirit and then subsequently baptized.

In all circumstances, the person receiving baptism was able to consciously make a decision about his salvation. In fact the Bible clearly states that...

"He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." - Mark 16: 16

Thus, believing in Christ is a prerequisite to baptism, and baptism before believing in Christ is just wasted...

There is no Biblical support to the baptism of infants...

Child Baptism is only for the sake of the Certificate that the church gives which comes in handy during the times of admission of the child to school etc.

Actual Baptism is given when a person repents of his sins and decides to make a u-turn in his life. Baptism is a significance of deciding to live for the Lord. There is no specific verse in the Bible regarding this, but it is a know fact that Baptism means death to sinful life along with Jesus and new life to righteous living along with the risen Jesus. The immersion Baptism signifies this. Dying to the world living for Jesus.

In the bible there is no mention of children being baptized. Only adults were. In the bible it says that men and women were baptized at Pentecost. No children there either. Jesus said that one had to be innocent like that of a child. So how do people get that children need baptism?

The Bible does not support the baptising of babies, that is catholic teaching and is also held by the Reform Churches, who have not reformed from catholicism.

why should baby be baptise when havent even know whas going on the world, and they havent sin.I dont know the kind of beleive this so call church of this day have.the baby cant talk to express his or her beleive dont even know if there is church or pastor exist then they started poring water on them,is that how John baptised Jesus?Fake doctrines.Jesus was inmersed when he was old enough, even before he got baptised he has be preaching in the sinagogue for those elders expressing himself to them before he went to John and asked him John"this is water what is delaying to get baptised"Then Jesus decleared that "God I have come to do your will"Can any baby say that? No.Even baby that is baptised when infant, when grows up will go and do some things detestable to God,even adult that baptised still sin not to talk of babies that got baptise when doesnt know anything.NO BABIES SHOULD BE BAPTISED.

My church (Christian but not Catholic) Does not believe in baptising babies. We wait until a person is old enough to make a desicion, and they do it because that is what they want.

Are you asking for biblical support for the Jewish tradition?? or to justify a christian variation on the ritual cleanliness of the Jews ?

Still subject to interpretation...do whatever your religion deems appropriate...there are passages that can be interpreted to justify infant baptism, age of reason baptism and/or adult baptism.

Baptism should only be done when the child is old enough to choose. Otherwise the baptism is false.

No, babies should not be baptized. They are not able to confess belief, nor are they able to differentiate between right and wrong.
