I'd be interested to hear what age gap people have left between having children - and any problems encounted

My 2 boys are 5 years apart. It's good because the oldest one can do a lot for himself, and likes to "help" with the baby.

My mom had my brother and I about a year and a half apart. She said it was a little difficult, having us both in diapers at the same time.

It's really up to you though, whatever you feel comfortable with. Best wishes to you!

NO SUCH THING as the right gap whether they come one after another or more than a decade apart you will love them to bits
Doctors will say leave 18months min for your body to recover but for some people 18 years isnt enough of a recovery period

The simple answer is YOU will know when the time is right if your not sure then it s not right

ENJOY them

I've heard 3 is optimal. Mine are 3 yrs apart, and they play pretty well together now at 2 and 5, and it wasn't too bad having a 3 yr old and a newborn/infant. And enough time has passed that you can pass down the car seats, high chair, crib, etc....

Personally for me id like my kids to b as close as possible, So that when me n my patner retire i have all of them out of the house. Id hate having a kid in college and one in grade 4, that bassically means ill b mothering that child until i die. So i want them both in college once one start working then in two, three years the most the next starts workn. Have the house all to myself!

My big bro is 8 years older than me and we get on fine but I've heard that 2 years is the optimum interval.
