Cooking is fun as long as you start off with easy stuff. You have the Internet, you could run a search for "easy recipes" or "beginner recipes" and you'd have lots of ideas.

I didn't know how to cook, either. Before I got married, I never cooked a day in my life. But, when I got married and moved out, I didn't have a choice but to learn. Try buying a few beginners cookbooks and see what you can do. Try watching The Food Network, I have learned a lot just by watching that show. If money is not a problem, try taking cooking lessons. I have found that by just watching other people cook and hands on training, you can learn a lot. Goodluck!!!

Buy a tape or a DVD teaching how to cook! It is better then a book or even cook lessons (if u don't have time).
While using a tape u will be doing the same thing that r done on the tape, u can watch it many times to make sure u have all the ingredients and stuff needed.
Their are special tapes for beginners as well as tapes with different kind of cuisine.

Sign up at Adult Education (look in the telephone book) for cooking classes. Until then, learn to read the back of those little red boxes they sell at the grocery.

that seems hard in the beginning, but later it becomes a great hobby, since two years, I couldn't enter kitchen, but now I'm proud that I invent some meals !!

You can always learn. Just follow the directions, when you find a recipe that you'd like to make. Start with easy stuff, and you'll learn. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't come out right the first time, just keep on trying.

Try to take lessons. Get a few books. Start cooking small things first. Try getting recipes from www.foodnetwork.com and also watching the channel if its available to you.
