Im not prude or anything I just wonder how others feel when they see 2 people snogging away in public.

what about in bars and clubs. I ask because sometimes I feel terrible the next day if I have been snogging away my date in a club/dancefloor

In public, it's best to keep the signs of sexual attraction down to the level of gestures. Most people probably wont mind, actually, but that's making a few assumptions. The biggest assumption is that the couple snogging is heterosexual.

I wouldn't consider myself homophobic, but I don't want to see homosexuals snogging. That should be kept for the privacy of their own company. Snogging is too much. If it's too much for Homos, it's too much for Hets.

Regular kisses are always okay. Even a semi-long lingering kiss is okay.

Tonsil checks are tacky in public. I am not a prude, but I think it looks just plain silly when I see two people who look like they are trying to climb inside each other via their mouths.

I think you can get away with just a tiny bit more in a club or bar, because usually the lights are low. But in general, I dislike seeing someone making out (that's what we call it in the US) in public.

I don't mind short kisses in public, but I hate it when people tongue kiss in public, especially when they are in a place where there is a lot of people around (a shopping mall, standing in line somewhere or something). If they're going to be all over each other they should go somewhere private out of consideration for others. It's pretty gross and awkward to have two people eating each other right in front of you.

It all depends where, with whom, and how you're snogging each other.
Usually it's not really that bad unless you two are really overdoing it to such an extent that you hear pple calling out, "Go get a room!"
Snogging in respectable places like at church, funerals, work is really tasteless.
Don't you dare snog in religious countries (I'm not mentioning names!)

There is a time and a place for everything. What country you are in makes a difference, where you are at that time (a park, mall etc) or what time of day. I say trust your gut... if you feel terrible the next day then obviously you don't feel good about what you did. Trust that... your gut will tell you when its right and wrong for you!

I think tounge kissing is fine in public. We're on a time schedule here and you only have so much of it to passionately kiss the one you love. So I say do it whenever you damn well feel like it. And **** the public.

One relatively quick kiss is sweet, especially when you meet someone. However, my question is, if you really want to get hot and heavy with someone, why do it in public? It sounds like nothing more than exhibitionism.

Here's a question: how do you feel about someone picking his nose in public?

Some actions are private and not meant to be shared in public.

A simple kiss on the cheek or lips, is not bad etiquette, but the whole tongue thing is very disrespectful to others, and can be very embarrassing for the other person/s.

You see people kiss in airports all the time,it is better than to see someone argue or fight in public like they do in the middle east.
Muslims like to talk about peace ,but their action have proved otherwise,so go ahead and piss all the religious zealots off and keep on kissing.
John Lennon wouldn't mind I am sure.
