Google Aztlan and see what pops out. Is this what America really wants? Is this what we are fighting the war on terrorism for? Is this what multi-culturalism is all about?????

You know I don't think the general public would be so opposed to the illegal immigrant if the people coming over here were not used by "other"groups to propagate their own extreme Marxist agenda. The illegal immigrant is being used by both sides to further each sides opinion and without really giving a damn about the people.I am against amnesty. But I am equally against racism, yeah I know you pro illegals don't believe that but it is a fact.
What I am against and would be no matter what race or heritage it was .Is the people who want this country to become just like Mexico. You cant have it both ways.Either you stay in Mexico and try to better that country or you come here and learn to "join"the American way of life. You cant in reality expect this country to change to your ways. This nation speaks English as a whole, not any other language. So try to learn ,we have our own traditions just as you do,don't try to change ours .We as Americans have embraced lots of cultural events from different country's..I don't ask you to become just like any other race or heritage so don't attempt to force us to accept yours.Remember if you want this nation to become another Mexico you will create a strong vocal active opposition. But come to this country via the legal route and become Americans.
I will not support blanket amnesty for any illegal from any nation.I refer to the Mexican illegal because I live in AZ and that's all we see here. Its not a racist remark its a fact of life here in the southwest.

Aztlan is already here in Western America. Like the war on drugs the war on terrorism is a fiction created by the administration. Islamic terrorists are participating in a jihad that started thousands of years ago and will continue till the last terrorist draws breath. We waste money and lives on the Bush war and it has to be stopped. Maybe in a few centuries.

The myth of Aztlan is an off shoot of the 60s Chicano movement and so far hasn't caused a single death. A good story rather like the xtian bible. The US is, if you haven't noticed, was built on multiculturalism. Take it or leave it. Resistance is futile.

No, we don't want it.

Angela, I don't think your friends are the radical entitlement sort. This does attract some of that element, and no, we don't want it.

I don't know if it is bigger than KKK, though, or more representative. However, in Maywood they flew a flag over the US post office, even with police there. That is not a peaceful statement.

I have never been in favor of multiculturalism, with or without Aztlan.

Multiculturalism is like Affirmative Action, a blot on the dung pile of life. There are many Mexicans (not all) who believe in this tripe, they are well funded and dangerous, not just to America. Why do you think Mexico exports these nut cases, they don't want them. Sigh, I wish Canada were closer to Mexico.

Thank you,Angelita,it's an irrational fear ,99,99% of the Mexicans don't buy the Aztlan unrealistic myth.I'm sick and tired of trying to explain that Chicano-like movements are a lame joke that have been around since 1960 or so ,and no harm could possibly come out of such things,so the Mexican irredentism threat is an artificially created problem, and Mexico,as a state, won't ever support such crapola.ignorance-fueled hysteria triggers hatred
