Honesty is always the best policy...now and later in life... however, in being honest you might want to be prepared for him to be honest right back

no! do not tell him your feelings yet... not yet..
just tell him ur upset that he stood u up..
but do not tell him your feelings yet...
why do some people think, it's the perfect time to tell ur bestfriends that?? hello?? he'll be shocked..
imagine this.. first u'll tell him ur upset..
then u'll tell him u've always liked him..
ok.. let's say u were hurt coz he stood u up.. but then don't u think u might have misinterpreted his kindness??
my favorite line in the world is "don't make a big deal out of it" why? coz when u start making a big deal out of it.. that's the time when u over analyze things.. so don't.
but i'm not telling u that he doesn't like u.. there's a possibility that he has.. but just keep waiting.. and see if there really is that "thing" that has been at the back of ur mind whenever u guys talk.. and don't tell me u don't think about it while u guys are on the phone talking... i hope this helps..

yeah, the guy seems to treat you only as a sister as what he told you clearly, and thats how he meant by being a bit protective over other guys while you want to give an interpretation that he meant it to be the other way around, if i were you, i would try to evaluate the whole situation based on reality and not only on how i felt about it, cos thinking too naively would only bring you much pain and in the end you might end up discourage and be more upset.. you see guys looks on things and analyze matters very differently the way we girls do, thats why dont expect that how u feel, he also feels the same way, as in mutual understanding, unless they say it in words themselves, ok?..... u can get over it,.... im sure! :)

Don't tell him, there's no reason. you can ask him why he couldn't make it to the party and mention that you missed him or it wasn't as fun since he wasn't there... Don't tell him about your feelings, SHOW HIM. Love that derives from a strong friendship is the best kind. Trust is already there, care is already there, understanding is already there, with love it is really powerful.

tell him how you feel- lifes too short. I spent half my life umming and ahhing about what I should do or say to people I've liked. It's a waste. If he's a good friend it should hopefully be ok, even if its not exactly what you want to hear...

Well...
I used to behave the same way with this girl I knew... & I had a HUGE crush on her...
So, I guess there's no harm in telling him...
Or you'll never know & feel like crap..

I think you should tell him. If you two are such good friends and talk all the time a relatioship may be way better.

I prefer u to say him directly that u love him. and also tell him that u were upset that he hadn't come for the party.

I'm sure you have to talk to him about your relationship and about your feeling...look, people cannot read your mind....maybe a desire or need that is so clear to you passes unnoticed for others...go on and have a talk...
