After reading what everbody else has answered your question i probably might sound different from all of them by saying this that;
If she is willing to sleep with you then you shouldn't do it and first thing you should do is to inform your friend about it because he in this way you are saving your friend to be with a disloyal girl who was never meant to be with your friend and later if she still insists on sleeping with you then go for it and have a nice time and leave her.

You aren't much of a friend are you?
If you don't value the friendship very much then go for it.
You will probably feel pretty guilty about it.
She will run and tell him after it happens and blame it all on you. Then your former friend and her will never talk to you again. That is usually how it happens.
He will say it's all your fault and totally forgive her.
Girls do this all the time in order to split really good guy friends up so she can have her boyfriend all to herself instead of sharing him with his best friend. Don't fall for it.

Depends on how good of friends you are and if you value the friendship. If you don't and losing that friendship is a big possibility, then go ahead. and If you do value the friendship, then don't. OR maybe your friend is the type of person who thinks that she is in the relationship, not you, so it's all her fault. That's how I would feel. I'd put more blame on her, but there'd be a lot on you, too, and I would probably write you both out of my life.

no its not a fair thing to do... If you have any respect for your friend or yourself you won't sleep with your friends girlfriend..The best way to figure out if you should do it or not is to put yourself in your friends shoes...How would you feel if your friend slept with your girlfriend?

I think it would be fair and just since they are not yet married and therefore still free to decide and not bound by some rules like that of a wedlock.
