I asked a guy from work, out. Just hang out, as friends. Then there was this long awkward pause which seemed like 10 min. I think he was trying to think of something to say to decline politely, but all he said was that he only have Tuesdays off, which is the day he thinks I work (when I don't, but I didn't want to say). I said I had Saturdays off but he didn't say that was his day off too. He didn't know that I knew that he had Saturdays off. After the long pause, and the bs explanation, I said, "ok, you're busy, I understand, see ya, and was about to walk away when he asked me if I wanted his #. I said no thanks, and then I asked him if he wanted mine. He took it, and that's it.
So if he doesn't want to go out with me, then why did he offer to give me his number? And he took my number because he didn't have the balls to say, "No I don't want your #", didn't he?

Ok, I'm confused. In the actual question, you said you got his number, and complained that he didn't call. Well, if you've got his number, I think it's up to YOU to call HIM. If it's the way you explained it later, then he knows you don't work tuesdays, and he gave you the same bs that you gave him. Y'know, not all guys are stupid... And if you weren't interested, then why did you offer your number, after you declined to take his?

The guy was in a state of indecision. He could not decide weather he should go with you out or not. But in his heart he likes you and that is why he got your phone # and he will call you and invite you to some place for your company. Havnt u heard the rule of thumb dont date human beings u artwork with. If u value your amployment then u would desire to be careful. possibly he wasnts to maintain his activity relationship somebody at artwork can create very complicated circumstances looks like its began already. extra effective off going for coff and not a date. He probobly is familiar with the rule of thumb dont blend enterprise with exhilaration.

well maybe he took it for when he finds hisself bored and wants to do something he might call....and he may like you but you do not know what is going on in his life either...some say they lost the number and sometimes they will call....men are strange anyway you ask me...i have raised all boys and i think even my sons are just men and maybe i do not like the way they treat me or their wome....not all of them are the same though...thank god..
