My daughter is 11.She has a boyfriend,he is 18 and he is a very nice boy.He is a man and has his needs...he sometimes has sex with my daughter. But don't think it's raping. No,she agrees and he is very careful.Anyway he doesn't use condoms because a girl cannot get pregnant if she hasn't got menstruation. My daughter doesn't have but I'm worried if she gets pregnant(if the menstruation comes soon). Is it OK to show her condoms and explain her how to use them now? What if she gets frightened of telling her about babies and etc?I don't want to stress her with scary stories. How to tell her everything?

You have to be careful.Talk to her boyfriend before her.If he gets the idea it would be easy for the 3 of you. Then you and him tell your daughter everything and asure her everything is going to be OK,but she and the boy just need to protect.Explain her how babies are made and why she hasn't gotten pregnant yet. Then tell her about menstruation - what is it,what it means, etc. Then her boyfriend will show her how they will use condoms in the future.Don't worry, your daughter won't be stressed so much if you are careful and sure you have to tell her everything.

First, if she's having sex she is at risk of STD's.

Second, what's an 18 year old doing dating and having sex with an 11 year old?

you asked "Is it OK to show her condoms and explain her how to use them now? What if she gets frightened of telling her about babies and etc?"

I say YES you need to. If she's frightened because she's too young then she's too young. and what if she gets pregnant and you haven't told her about all of these things? do you have any idea how scary that would be for a little girl? and I don't know where you're from but where I'm from an 18 year old and an 11 year old having sex is called statutory rape.

Mygod, I hope this is a joke.

I don't care if BF is the nicest male on the face of the earth....he shouldn't be having sex with an 11 year old female! If he "has needs", his hand will do perfectly nicely, thank you. She CANNOT give consent, and that's statutory rape, and she's WAY too young to be sexually involved, with him or anyone else.

And yes, a female CAN get pregnant before her menstruation starts---rare, but it can happen.

I'd normally recommend a couple of decent sex education books, but on the off chance this is NOT a joke (and I've heard weirder true things).....I think you need to get some issues straightened out. Call your local United Way to see about family counseling. And tell BF your daughter is off limits, and tell her the same thing. Trust me--this is best for everybody, right now.

In Australia, this act is either "unlawful carnal knowledge" or "child abuse" (or both).

The person commiting the act would be facing a long prison sentence.

If some was aiding the act thay too would be facing a prison term too.

Stop before any permanent harm is done.

A sexual relationship between an 18 y/o man and an 11 y/o girl is not natural, healthy or normal.

This is not really a question about a condom but about the right to be a child.

I think that you and the boyfriend should be arrested and put in the same cell until only one person survives. Then have your daughter sent to a good home where she will learn that 11 is too young for sex and all about condoms and having babies.

I seriously hope this is a joke, if not your daughter needs to be removed from your care ASAP. Heard of statutory rape hon it means even if your daughter consent it is rape and that man needs to be thrown in prison, in fact you need to be thrown in prison as well. You never know when your daughter could get her period so yes she could get pregnant even though she hasn’t had her period yet, maybe she is due to get it but wouldn’t because she got knocked up.

How pathetic is it if this story is true that an 18 year old guy cant find someone his age and has to resort to a child, because that is exactly what an 11 year old is, not even a teenager, a child.

First of all, if she has'nt got her period that a sign she don't need to be doing what young ladies do. Second of all, can you imagine a 18 year old penis going into your littles girl virgina (that craps hurts, unless she is loose from you letting grown mens having sex with her). Third of all, please tell me that you are joking if not, please stop that relationship and focus her on school.
Pretty soon she might bring home some kind of STD, because the boy is 18 she don't know what to look for in a relationship if the guy is cheating. He is so more experienced than her, can't you tell he is taking advantage of a little girl, that you are allowing to happen.

I dont' care if she agrees or not.

It is statutory rape to have sex with a minor, and you need to do something about it.

And as for asking if it's OK to show her condoms, and how to use them ... you are way too late for that.

What kind of parent are you anyway, knowingly letting your 11 year old have sex.

That actually equates to aiding and abetting the statutory rape and child endangerment.

You, and the boyfriend, should both be ashamed of your actions - and prosecuted.

You HAVE to tell her everything. She has a right to know. 11 is very very young to be engaging in such adult activities as sex!
I would be very very upset if my daughter were doing that.
Im disturbed even reading this question.. I should not have answered, I'm sorry.
I feel that you are very very wrong for letting your daughter into this situation.

You are a mother.I can't believe this. She is 11 and she is having sex isn't she too young for it.She has already done the major thing of having sex of course you can introduce her to condoms. If she is having sex,she must know all the consequences.Anyway I find that you are not suitable to be a mother.
