I hope hurting you makes you think more and more .. it is very easy to say something .. but so hard to prove it ..
some is saying that god is imagination .. ok ..
but we have the ability of imaginning him and other things .. we must be very careful before saying something .. saying god is imaginary does not solve the problem .. because how we can imagine then ..
and about insects .. etc .. I can not say anything about it .. because I do not know .. I can only talk about me and myself .. good luck ..

The brain is the least understood of all human organs and there are people much smarter than me currently working on that problem.

I'll let you know as soon as they let me know.

But, what does that have to do with the question I posed to you?

Do you also assert insects & other animals have souls based solely on their ability to reproduce and think?

Or, are you asserting they don't think?

Thanks for the kind words.

And, to the unkind words, you really hurt my sensitive feelings:

*sniff, sniff*

My feelings are totally unaffected by words on a computer screen written by strangers. That was intended as sarcasm as relates to the unkind words.

To recap, you postulate a soul and then postulate a God based on the fact people think.

That is a huge leap and is illogical. Even if people had souls there is still no evidence to support God belief.

But, since there is no evidence to support a soul, your comparison fails. If humans had souls it would be unaffected by sleep, brain damage or sedation. Obviously, there is nothing other than what we imagine in our conscious, physical brain.

Nice try, but you may well stick to the trees prove God exists argument. It's equally nonsensical, but obviously appeals to those who accept anything as proof their imaginary friend actually exists.

To Mr. Mister:

The bible is a book of mythology and there is no evidence to support the claim anything has a unique personality or awareness (soul) separate from his physical existence.

T; J.T.

HEY.............AS A MATTER OF FACT... I BASED MY KNOWLEDGE OF ANIMALS HAVINGS SOULS ON THAT. Thank You.

Animals as well as humans have souls. The soul means the person or animal themselves. Animals will go to heaven, Not through salvation. Animals souls don't need redemption. Animals never sinned. Man did, Man needs a redeemer. Jesus Christ.

Gen. 1:20, 21, 24, 25: “God went on to say: ‘Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls* . . . ’ And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. . . . And God went on to say: ‘Let the earth put forth living souls according to their kinds . . . ’ And God proceeded to make the wild beast of the earth according to its kind and the domestic animal according to its kind and every moving animal of the ground according to its kind.” (*In Hebrew the word here is ne'phesh. Ro reads “soul.” Some translations use the rendering “creature[s].”)

Nearly if not wholly impossible.
