this 'illness' has been greatly effecting my memory and concentration. To the point; I am currently at uni and am trying to do some assignments currenlty but my mind is just not working but i desperatly don't want to have to pull out of this semester it would be terrible for me. If there is anything anyone can suggest to get me through this hurdle tell me now.

I am classified as 'disabled' that only gives me extensions it doesn't improve my concentration and memory abilities i have to get the wrok in eventually and much is already overdue. Motivation is not a problem i do really want to do it.

This is from my experience: allow yourself to have a full blown panik attack and then take a break for 2-3 days, go to some place else for rest and reflection.Find something--just 1 thing (!) that can be a motivation for you to fight back and if you find it then stick to remembering it. May be things get unfair towad you. This kind of realization of helplessness in front oif big unfairness was a strong motivation for me. E.g., I had strong headches and could not study. I was in ahole. I thougth: well, all my classmates can study with no problems, they are healthy and able and they have no idea what I am going throught, and may be there is a balance that is on my side. That gave me forces to fight my depression. If that resonates to you, ,I can elaborate.

Go to a psychiatrist to see if you can be classified as disabled. If that doesn't work, talk to the department chair or your professor and see if they can tell you what your best course of action is. Maybe you can live with a low GPA, but sometimes those transcripts come back to haunt you.

definetly get on a steady schedule get to bed early and wake up early get lots of sleep! It will help a lot. make sure that you wake up the same time every day and go to bed the same time every day even on weekends.
Also try eatting better foods. More fruits and berries stuff like blueberries will help your memory and the anti oxidants will help clear your system of toxins that can be dragging you down.

I don't know what CBT is. I have had fair success with Paxil, have been on other meds, too. They stop working after a while and have to change the prescription. Counseling sounds crucial for you.

exercise, yoga and meditation can help with increasing your focus and helping you quiet your mind.
