Yes it is possible to keep all ten commandements if you believe in it.But I think ten commandements was out of date.Allah as the only one God has replaced it by a complete and ever matching life giudance that is spoken in the holy Al Qur'an and the Mohammad prophet Hadith..Please believe me and you must try to study Al Qur'an if you want to get the best complete and updated commandements and warnings from our God Almighty.
You do not know the difference and a better one before you study it carefully and compared it with the ten commandements..

Jesus said the greatest commandment is love, and I believe through the constant application and study of love, it's possible to keep those ten commandments-- but it's certainly a hard thing to do.

If it was possible to keep all Ten Commandments, as well as all the other laws that come from the Ten Commandments, then there would be no need for Christ to die for us on the cross...

"... knowing that a mand is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified." - Galatians 2: 16

"I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, the Christ died in vain." - Galatians 2: 21

That is why we must be thankful that Christ paid the price that the Law demanded...

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5: 8

I am a born-again Christian and I know I would not be able to keep the 10 Commandments if it was not for the Holy Spirit...That is why we rejoice at the DEATH of Jesus Christ...Please check this out:

Romans 8:3 "For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,"

Hope you understand.Hug!

No, it is not possible for any human to be always completely obedient to all the 10 commandments. The purpose of the 10 commandments is to reveal the level of perfection God expects from us. It also lets us know how weak we humans are. We learn that we can never be saved by our own efforts and works and we learn to trust in God to strengthen our weaknesses.

Since it is not possible for us to keep the 10 commandments and be saved by it, God revealed his new plan for us, i.e. salvation by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. This salvation is achieved by pure faith rather than through any of our works.

The Commandments are meant to be adhered to, as guidelines for a moral life, not to be practiced perfectly. That would be impossible. None of us have been able to practice these principles with perfect adherence.

Yet, I believe that one can keep them, can dedicate ones life to living as G-d wants us to, if one is committed oneself to doing so.

So yes, I believe it is possible to keep all ten commandments.

I think, no we can't. Although they're good, fair and just, their main purpose is to remind us how weak we are, how sinful we can be and how much we need the grace of Jesus Christ and his redeeming blood of his sacrifice.

"Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin." (Romans 3:20) ... "I was alive apart from the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. The commandment, which was for life, this I found to be for death; for sin, finding occasion through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me." (7:9-11) ... "But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;" (3:21-24)

Though it's hard, of course we can. In the New Testament, it says "Be immitators of Christ".
The Bible says God do not allow us to be tested more than we can handle. He knows us more than we do ourselves. The only reason we think we can't do it is coz we refuse to. It's always easier to listen to the "flesh". Read James 1:12-18.
Jesus was a good example. He came as human. He struggled with the same problems we have. But He overcame.
"1Co 15:57 But praise be to God who gives us strength to overcome through our Lord Jesus Christ."
You can only overcome through Christ.
In Hebrews 2:14-18, "Since the children have flesh and blood, he* too shared in their humanity so that by his* death he might destroy him who holds the power of death - that is, the devil- and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. For surely it is not angels that he helps, but Abraham's descendants. For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make an atonement for the sins of the people. BECAUSE he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted."

possible - yes

But we don't need to.
Jesus said, the two greatest commandments sum up all the 100's of others.

worship God alone, and treat others as you want to be treated.

Jesus set us free.
John 14:15 - if you love me, do as I command

Yep, it's possible. Jesus did it!

In fact, even the wealthy ruler in Luke 18 claimed to have kept all 10 of them. But Jesus was not looking at outward observance, He sees the heart. And the heart is not fully given to God.
