There is not dolphin meat in tuna, but dolphins can be killed while fishing for tuna. There are dolphin safe methods to fish for tuna and there should be a note explaining what kind of fishing method has been used.
I don't think you'll find dolphin at your supermarket, but there are restaurants that serve dolphin.

Nothing is 100% safe to eat. A small percentage of dolphins are still killed in the catching of tuna, and a small percentage actually find their way into the tuna. Just as ketchup allows a small percentage of rat parts and bugs in their products and milk allows a percentage of puss cells per liter. Our fruits also develop salmonella on them when the pickers don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom. Learn the truth and read up about the foods you eat.

Dolphins die in various ways. They can get an infection, have breathing problems, or get heart disease. They can be killed by predators such as sharks or killer whales. Sometimes people kill dolphins on purpose. They use the dolphin for meat, leather, and oil. Human pollution also kills dolphins. They are also caught in fishing nets when people try to catch tuna fish.

doh... if it's dolphin meat it's not tuna
if it's tuna it can't be dolphin
But lots of dolphins die when they get caught in nets intended to catch tuna. So tuna should be fished in ways which minimise the effect on dolphins, and we should be prepared to pay for the reduction in efficiency which this causes.

I have eaten dolphin meat in Japan. I didn't find it that good, I much prefer whale. The dolphin harvest is a seasonal/regional activity in Shizuoaka prefecture so the catch is only sold locally.

No, the term "dolphin free" refers to fishing practices that do not harm dolphins while catching tuna.
