but it is mostly the guys that should say sorry first

whoever feels like they want the other one enough to give in to them. BUT I think at the same time, it means whoever keeps arguing and never backs down is the one who may not care about the relationship as much as the other. You can't go by who's in the wrong because each person will feel that they are in the right

The bigger person. It's not always about who's right and who's wrong when love is involved. Sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and let the other person "win" for the sake of the relationship... if you really are in love. It takes a more mature person to let go, forgive, and allow themselves to be considered the "loser" in an argument every once in a while.
