when i was young i use to watch my uncle strech crack ...he strugged with 9 to 5s and easile made his checks back.. he use to tell me..nepew i would rep that... but when i started hustiling i couldnt take a step back.. i felt what he was saying.. it wasnt hard to see..but day after day it became a part of me.... so.. Atheists believe in PEOPLE. They believe that we are born into this world, we live and then we die, and that is the end. So what atheists believe is, we all have to make the most of every second we are on this earth, because there's nothing after that.
The reason atheists believe that, is that there's absolutely no evidence that there IS anything else. Yes, there are plenty of books, like the Bible, the Koran etc. But those are just books - lots of people SAYING that God exists, and giving examples of things that they SAY were His doing, but no actual evidence.
No one has ever been able to prove whether God exists, or whether Heaven or Hell exists. Just like no one has ever been able to prove whether ghosts, or vampires, or any other supernatural creature exists.
Say you read a book that claims there are little green men living on the moon. You wouldn't just believe the claims in that book without proof - you would want to see the photographs, wouldn't you? And yet you believe in God, Heaven, Hell etc, without any proof whatsoever. So if atheism seems weird to you, believing in something you can't prove seems even weirder to an atheist.
And BTW, no, I'm not one. But I absolutely respect their right to have their own belief, or lack thereof.

You could take away all of science and i still wouldn't believe in deities. Why? Because there is no evidence..that's all that should need to be said. No evidence = No belief.
Atheism = Without theism, or without god belief... nothing at all to do with Scientology, which is a religion.
I don't know if god(s) exist and i don't believe they do. The same as i don't know invisible blue trolls are running around, but i just don't a have a belief that there are such things.
Atheists are people who simply believe in one less god than you do.

I am an atheist.
I don't go to any church because I don't believe what any of them preach to be true.
My beliefs are based on reality, empathy and making my own moral judgments on situations. I don't feel I need to read how to live and what decisions I should make in a book.
I don't see how true clear thoughts can be made when religious ideology's and in-built preconceptions are there to cloud them.
That is why I do not want any religion, including Scientology.
I believe in love and reality - that's kind of sums it all up.

Atheists have nothing whatsoever to do with Scientology...a sci-fi religion that has very little to do with reality. (Wanna sue me, Tome Cruise? Bring it on!) Science and Scientology are two wildly different things.
I have no reason to believe in your sky-fairy. Period. Your "evidence" is inadiquate and does not stand up under critical scrutiny, and much of it relies of extremely shaky anectodal claims. The entire basis of your religion rest on writings by desert nomads who lived in a time when man was at the total mercy of the environment...and a very harsh one at that. What have you got besides ancient myths and fairy tales?

Atheists don't believe in things that are unfalsifiable...the existence of god is unfalsifiable...
I hold evidenced belief in evolution for example...it is the most compelling theory for how life developed on our planet and there is a mountain of evidence behind it to back it up that anyone can examine for themselves.
I don't share a belief in god with theists that's all, no compelling evidence..in fact there's no evidence at all, just the Bible which is a compilation of mucked about with scripts all hearsay and all anonymous.

Atheists can and do believe in many things, the only thing that all atheists have in common though is that they don't believe in any god(s). Atheism isn't a religion, there is no atheist "holy book" or church. Atheism is just a label for a disbelief. The word is comes from the ancient Greek word atheos, meaning lack of belief in god(s).

No, there no atheist anti-church if that's what you're getting at. Atheist simply means you don't believe in god. We're not a cohesive group. And by the way, scientology has nothing to do with science, don't confuse the two and insult science that way.

Scientology is not a 'science church' Scientology literally translated means 'study of knowledge'. We are NOT 'Church of Christian Science' we did not 'evolve from aliens'. I am an athiest, but also a Scientologist...God Does NOT exist, it was a creation of govenments to control the masses.

Because theres alot of Gods in this world its hard to decide which one is right.. so the best thing for me to do is just live my life to the fullest til my last breath. I think it will be fair to all..not taking sides. just staying neutral.
