Depends on how old the older woman is. If it ranges from 6 yrs difference NO, I would not let him. Also it has to do with your mans trust. If he is trust worthy I would let him go to the gala with a woman older than his 6 yrs age differece.

That depends on how much you trust your boyfriend. Im not trying to sound mean, but it does. If you trust him and believe that he is being truthful and serious about this date, then why worry. It is just him going with a friend who happens to be female. Im sure you both had friends of the opposite sex before going out. Why does that have to change now? Now on the other hand, if he seems a bit flakey, I would worry about it.

Have you met the girl that wants to take him out? If not, then I would suggest meeting her first. If you trust in him that he will be loyal to you, and they are just going as friends, then I think you should let him go.

the question here isn't should you let him go. its his choice. the question is whether you trust him enough to not have a problem should he choose to go. if you trust him, let him have some fun, maybe he'll take you to a gala if he likes it.

Ok now it sounds like they have been fooling around and are just checking to see how dumb you are. (or they want to fool around) Its up to you since no man who is serious about you would actually want to date another woman. Only a "player" would do that to you..
