It's kind of awkward to say about these things, "I don't know, and you cannot know either!" The only way we can know that no one else knows the Truth out there requires a sort of omniscience we do not have. It's like saying, "I have absolute knowlege that there is no one out there with absolute knowledge."

But I think people still study these things because questions about whether life has a purpose or meaning, and what that purpose is and how it is best served are exactly the kinds of questions that nearly every human being asks during an hour of unhappy times... they are questions that have big implications for how we ought to live among ourselves and among others; it's important to know what people are really looking for in many cases is either Truth or "Just how to get by". So we either live according to some rule because it is True, or because it is merely useful.

Whichever of the two reasons you choose to justify that we ought to "live a good life, love, and respect, and honesty," there can be someone else that questions you on how you KNOW that this is what life is really all about. So far we've just assumed that, but if the universe is really made up of nothing but nature and matter, the universe just doesn't care whether we share love, goodness or respect to one another.

This is kind of why I say life only makes sense if God exists. If God exists, then there is room in our lives for such things as nobility, honor, truth, goodness, love, gentleness, faithfulness, respect, self control, etc... Without God, there is no meaning or purpose as to why we're here, and whether I choose to live a "good" life (whatever that means) is no different than if I were to choose instead to live selfishly and violently. In the end, no one would be keeping any score to how many goodie points you earn.

We are not around when we die so we never get to find out about death...not even our own death just at the last minute we are gone...game over.
Thge only deaths we can experience are the deaths of others...at least we can watch others die and usually have to see loved ones die at some stage...anything anyone says beyond the physical process of the end of life is wild speculation.

There is more written evidence of the miracles of Christ and his apostles than of any other ancient event or person. Ten of Jesus' disciples died for preaching Christ's plan of salvation, when all they had to do was admit it was a lie to be set free. Those events are hardly arguable, even for non-Christians, due to the number of witnesses, and the overwhelming popularity of them immediately after being written allows for multiple copies dating extremely close to the actual date of authorship. All of the events written in those documents would be taken for fact if it weren't for the miracles involved. No amount of proof will suffice for a stubborn man to believe something he doesn't want to believe.

There are over 2 billion Christians in the world. Just because we will never all agree, doesn't mean that all of us are wrong.

you know sometimes I think people just don't know the language , or they have a poor translation tool. Does that make any sense? Sometimes I answer anyway and that gets somebody else's drawers twisted.
