My girlfriend has that problem.... she always wakes up feeling lame and lethargic.
The best solution is to restructure your normal routine...
This includes :- the time at wich u wake up and go to sleep
- the type of food you eat
- the amount of coffee you drink in the morning...
....etc etc
Your body needs NATURAL energy to help if throught the day
Most people think that drinking a high sugar energy drink is a good idea, but in fact, it isnt... an energy drink is only good for a short period of time!
The reason this doesnt help much is because once your brain realises that your body is full of excess sugar, your brain tells your body to start producing more insulin to counter-act the sugar... this is whats commonly refered to as a SUGAR SPIKE!
The best advise i can give you is to eat lots of CARBOHYDRATES (pasta, potatoes,rice...etc etc)
Carbs act the same way as sugar in fueling our body, but the only difference is that it is SLOWLY released into your body, so ur body doesnt release insulin to counter act it... therefore providing you energy throughout the day
if this doesnt work, then go see a specialist for more...um...SPECIAL help...lol
