All my girlfriends would agree with you. I'm not really with you on this one. I can honestly say I HAVE served a pint of ice cream to up to four people. I'm a person that LOVES to eat, I love sweets, but I can't finish 16 oz of ice cream in one sitting. I do have to agree with you on one thing, they should make the nutrition label out for one serving, giving calories and fat for the entire pint. Also, next time you eat one of those super size muffins, look at the serving size. Food labels will surprise you!

No. Just because you eat the whole container at once doesn't make it a single serving. People who have grown up with today's super-sized restaurant portions and 16-20 oz drink bottles have no concept of portions. 30 years ago a small soft drink was 7 oz and a large was 12 oz. No one complained and they rarely asked for refills. A half cup of ice cream would have been a normal dessert. It is no wonder the population today grows heavier by the minute.

I disagree - I believe it is 4 servings. I can usually make a pint last 4-5 days. I try to limit my calorie intake and so I read labels and only take one serving of food. I'm glad they lable food the way they do now - between understanding how many calories I eat each day and limiting them, and exercising, I've been successful at losing and keeping off weight.

Yes, I agree and I think it is even more stupid that a 20 oz. bottle of soda is 2.5 servings!

consistent with ice cream intake figures, the best 5 guy or woman flavors in terms of share of section interior the U. S. are: vanilla (26%), chocolate (12.9%) neapolitan (4.8%) strawberry (4.3%) cookies n' cream (4.0%) and that i like chocolate icecream from the limited options given. If there have been different options i could have chosen another flavour. in spite of the fact that, in maximum regularly occurring eating places the alternative you're given are very limited and it may be the three flavours you have given so i think of you probably did stable. There are too many flavours and variations (like personalities) so the three trouble-free classic ones are a stable concept. in spite of the fact that, the chocolate character did no longer tournament mine. i'm no longer reserved, very chatty, open, friendly, outgoing, confident, love paintings, uncertain approximately Indie Rock.
