Me and coworkers were on break and went outside and someone in a Dodge Ram drove by and shouted expletives out the window and the other coworkers thought the expletives were directed at one of the coworkers but they were really for someone else that was walking down the sidewalk I want to know if the coworker that everyone thought the expletives were meant for should he fight the dude in the Dodge Ram because we all thought the expletives were for him but he says they were for the other guy walking down the sidewalk? Should he have fought the Dodge Ram driver or not?

My word, I think you have missed the point. Any one driving a Dodge, let alone one named after a male sheep should be simply ignored. I dont even think laughter would be apropriate.
Although thinking about it, it is the states after all so the aproriate action would be to pull out your uzzi and spray him up a bit (trying to keep the innocent bystander injuries to a reasonable minimum).

Of course not! For one thing it would be really dumb just to fight someone because they called you names. And you have no idea if the dodge guy has knives or guns on his person. Just leave it alone. Be a bigger person

fighting gets you nowhere except jail. Ignore them. They want a reaction from you, so why give them what they want?

violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. sticks and stones may break your bones but words should never hurt you...or your co worker.
