Has anyone had a similar experience to the following? What does it mean and what is it called?

After a warm shower, I notice that my skin on my thighs and arms gets large flat white blotches that range from one to two inches in diameter but are not perfectly circular. More irregular. They don't itch and they fade within thirty minutes. Usually my whole thigh is covered by them. The skin in between the blotches is just my regular skin color (I'm olive complected). I read about hives that could be white, but everything said they were itchy and raised. These are flat and almost seem underneath my skin. Any one heard of this? Is it something to worry about? An indication I am sick? My doctor didn't know what to tell me since he could not see them because they only happen after a shower. Thanks a bunch.

Have your water tested by the city you live in. Sounds like you have something bad going on there.

Maybe your body doesn't like the soap you are using.
