I do these for people all the time. I normally use PowerPoint. Okay, anyway...I usually ask bride and groom for pictures from when they were little to the present. I ask they include pics of them with their grandparents, parents, siblings, best friends. Usually the friends are standing up there with them, so it can be a little humorous. You get the point..I will also ask them for what type of music they want to be playing in the background, if any. I make sure I know how long the slide show needs to be and then I put it all together with some cool animations. I normally try to find some nice backgrounds and personalize it for them with names and/or dates.
If you're interested in contracting this out, let me know.

Are you talking movie/pictures? For my step daughter I went to a professional photographer who wanted (depending on what size you're looking at) 100 photos of bride and 100 of groom. So myself and husband found lots of baby pictures, teen pictures, then pictures of them first going out and spending time with each other, stuff like that and he blended them together beautifully with music and a personal message from the both of them to all the guests (thank you for coming to share wedding day) it was great!

Baby pictures, pictures of you with your invididual friends/family, and then end it with pictures of the two of you and your engagement pics. You should also throw in video clips if possible or romantic quotes that mean something to the two of you.

Please, no more than one or two songs worth. This is not a high school reunion or a work presentation. Slide shows are typically tedious for the guests, so keep it very light and quick moving, please.
